FIRMWARE

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

1. Ensure the Collar and Remote are fully charged.
2. Install the Heel™ Firmware Update App.

Phone apps, required to update remote and collar firmware, are available here:

NOTE: Remote and all Collars must be updated to the same version of firmware for the system to function properly.

REMOTE Firmware Update Procedure:

Step 1: Power on the Remote.

Step 2: Press and hold both Static Level Buttons for 5 seconds until the Visual Assurance LED starts blinking Blue.
You have 40 seconds to complete Step 3 before Remote returns to normal operation.

Step 3: In the App tap "Start Scanning". Remote will show up in the list. An "Update" button will appear if firmware update is needed.

Step 4: The Visual Assurance LED will be Pink during the update.

Step 5: After the update, Remote will return to normal operation.

COLLAR Firmware Update Procedure:

Step 1: Verify the Collar is powered off.

Step 2: Press and hold the Power Button for 5 seconds until the Visual Assurance LED starts blinking Blue (Note: Collar will power on after 1 second, keep holding)..
You have 40 seconds to complete Step 3 before Collar returns to normal operation.

Step 3: In the App tap "Start Scanning". Collar will show up in the list. An "Update" button will appear if firmware update is needed.

Step 4: The Visual Assurance LED will be Pink during the update.

Step 5: After the update, Collar will return to normal operation.

v50 - September 2024 (current) - Multi-dog improvements.

v49 - August 2024 - Bug fixes. Improved Autoprox, especially at "Roam" setting. Added multi-dog functionality.

v39 - May 2024 - Adjusted static correction intensity. Minor bug fixes.
